Chief Investment Officer of redT Homes. Building a Greener Colorado. Helping investors diversify through real estate! Paul Ko joined redT in September 2014. He oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and managing all debt and equity relationships. While at redT, Paul has served to be an excellent resource on assisting and connecting redT’s developer clients with funding sources for their development projects. Sources have ranged from bank loans, debt funds, private and hard money loans, to more complex capital stacks including multiple layers of debt and equity. Paul brings over 13 years of financial management experience in residential and commercial real estate, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity. From 2006 to 2012, he held leadership positions in his family’s development company in Colorado Springs, closing on over $100 Million in loans for construction and CMBS financing of assets ranging from Class A office/medical, hospitality, multifamily, and retail centers. From 2012-2014, Paul served a role as Controller for a Denver real estate acquisitions company that was acquiring foreclosures of single family and commercial assets. He has helped these organizations define their strategic direction, prepare new business plans, streamline financial and procedural policies and create monitoring and accountability systems Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and actively holds a Colorado Real Estate Broker License.
