About Me:
ALAN HOFFMANN President Alan Hoffmann is the founder of Hoffmann Homes, a sustainable builder of single-family homes. He holds the professional designations from the National Association of Homebuilders of Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) and Certified Green Professional (CGP). In his 25 years in homebuilding, he has shown himself to be a leader in the environmental building movement, bringing a long list of “firsts” to the marketplace. In 1995 he became the first builder to introduce Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) to North Texas. He was also the first homebuilder in the area to use this proven system for exterior walls of a single-family home. He went on to build the first ICF homes in Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Terrell, Gunner, Lake Whitney, Rockwall, Oak Point, Flower Mound, and Kerens, Texas. His company has designed and built the first two homes to be certified by the US Green Building “LEED for Homes” program. These homes were also the first to be certified as LEED Platinum in Dallas. D Magazine also featured Alan in their Special Edition entitled “Dallas Goes Green” and profiled him as one of the good citizens creating a sustainable city. Alan continues to show his industry leadership through his participation in professional associations. Alan is a member of the Dallas Builders Association (DBA) and served as President from 2017-2018. As a member of the Texas Builders Association, he serves as Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee. Additionally, he also serves on the Leadership Council of the National Association of Homebuilders and on the Building Systems Council for the association. He has also recently been appointed to the City of Dallas’ “Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee” by Councilwoman, Paula Blackmon. Alan’s continued mission is to bring sustainable homes and communities to Dallas, TX and strives to lead by example in shaping the growing North Texas region.
